DIRECTIONS: Enter the last name. Anything other than letters will be ignored. The last name will be converted to ALL CAPS and compared to last names in the database, also similarly converted so that Laforest matches La Forest because both are converted to LAFOREST. Likewise, OBrien, O'BRIEN, and Obrien will all be converted to OBRIEN for matching; hyphens and anything other than the 26 letters of the alphabet will be ignored.
Enter the first name the same way (optional). Again, it will be converted to ALL CAPS and anything other than letters is ignored.
Enter the date of birth, if desired. Enter the year, month and day in that order. To enter 24 July 1959 enter 19590724. You may enter the year alone, or the exact date.

Keep The Electoral College
The Electoral College is based on a constitutional provision, Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, . The problem is that State legislators have abdicated this responsibility by leaving the selection of electors to the same bunch of clods who elected the legislators: To borrow from Mad Magazine, the usual gang of idiots. They dont care if the candidate will adhere strictly to the Doctrine of Enumerated Powers, a cornerstone of this federal republic. A majority are so ignorant they have no idea what the Doctrine of Enumerated Powers is.
If the election of President was anything more than a beauty contest, Donald John Trump never would have had a chance. Folks who like the political positions Trump holds would have selected a candidate with similar views, but somewhat qualified. (Mike Pence comes to mind.) President of the United States is not an entry-level job in politics.
State legislatures should appoint a board to vet the candidates. The office should seek the candidate, not the candidate, the office.
It was for good reason that United States Senators were picked by State legislatures and not the voters. Senators were there to represent the interests of State governments.
The House of Representatives is there to represent the people. That is why their terms are set at two years, while the senators have terms of six years, staggered so that a temporary mood swing would only affect one-third of them.
Increase the House of Representatives to the constitutional maximum of one representative for every thirty thousand inhabitants, and give each representative one staffer in Washington, D.C. and one in the Congressional district.
Expanding the House of Representatives will reduce the disproprtionate power of small States such as Delaware, with three electoral votes. Delaware has two senators, and so does California, but the proportion of each States Congressional delegation consisting of senators would be far less. The benefits of a larger House of Representatives would far outweigh the cost of remodeling the Capitol.
